In 2021, women-led startups received just 2% of all venture capital funding. For women of color, that number drops to 0.27%. The women founders’ incubator program is my brain child to change that. As the creator and lead of this initiative, I designed a high-intensity Build Sprint that accelerated 11 diverse teams from idea to investor-ready pitch in 10 weeks. For the girls, we organized workshops including ideation, prototyping, technical development, and marketing & pitching.

The program culminated in pitch sessions hosted at top Silicon Valley VC offices, giving early-stage founders exposure, mentorship, and a platform to be heard in rooms they’ve historically been excluded from.
